KOKO by Cadbury
Created by women, for women.
Chocolates are mainly given by women, to women, but to look at the brands out there you would never know it. FutureBrand identified an opportunity for Cadbury to create an unashamedly feminine chocolate brand especially for women.
FutureBrand developed the brand positioning and pack design for KOKO by Cadbury. Taking inspiration from other feminine worlds such as cosmetics, fashion and jewelery, we wanted to create an object of desire with a touch of feminine sophistication.
The KOKO by Cadbury design philosophy is all about balance. A luxurious, rich dark brown is punctuated with splashes of vibrant color, while a bespoke pattern adds an element of detail and personality. Inspired by premium fashion brands, the embossed KOKO by Cadbury logo is an elegant signature, strong and proud with a feminine flourish.
Embellishments such as the satin ribbon and gift tag add an extra special touch and make the pack truly giftable.
KOKO by Cadbury launched in the UK in August 2009, and there are now plans to go global by 2010.
