Barilla, the world’s ultimate pasta brand, is unrivalled as far as range and quality are concerned. Barilla exports to more than 125 countries worldwide and every year more than 2,800,000 tons of food produces with brands such as Barilla, Mulino Bianco and Wasa are featured on dining tables the world over.

Our starting point was the careful consideration of Barilla’s double soul: the large leading international Group on one side and the trusted and well-loved brand on the other.

The Barilla logo was brought back to its origins by giving up the 3D effect. The packaging front has been split front into two complementary parts: the corporate Barilla with its colours and logo on the left hand side and the other side reveals the hearty, perfumed and shared Barilla brand. The latter is represented by a tasty dish turning on the right side of the box. The left side belongs to Barilla corporate soul so that, if but side by side on the shelf, Barilla boxes look like book spines, the volumes of a unique and never-ending story.

On the back of the 100% recyclable cardboard box Barilla offer a tasty recipe. The layout recalls the back cover of a book, so that the “library” concept is emphasised.

The product visuals represent tasty pasta dishes cooked according to easy recipes, just like those prepared daily in millions of home kitchens.
