James is a recognised expert in branding and experience design, having held key roles in Australia and more recently New York, working with corporate, consumer and government brands. His appointment adds to FutureBrand’s strategic capability and amplifies the company’s ability to incorporate technology into its branding solutions by strengthening the bridge between data and experience, strategy and design.

Richard Curtis, FutureBrand’s Chief Executive Officer in Australia, New Zealand & South East Asia, said:

“I’ve known and admired James for a number of years, so it’s exciting to add someone with his smarts to our team in Australia – plus to be able to have James play a pivotal role in the Asia Pacific region as part of our uniquely integrated regional model. Not only will this better enable how we build brands with technology through experience design, but also extend our use of data and analytics to guide how businesses create and manage their brands.”

Brand strategy has seen enormous change over just the last couple of years, with data collection and analysis, design thinking and the integration of technology becoming key elements of the practice. Having worked at a partner agency to FutureBrand on the 2015 Cadillac brand relaunch, I’ve been impressed by how the company not only operates across all elements of their clients’ businesses, but also by how they constantly evolve their approach to their branding work.
