Patrick Smith

As Global CEO, Patrick has full operational responsibility for FutureBrand Worldwide, and sits on the Executive Board and Committees for both McCann Worldgroup and CMG.
Patrick personifies two of FutureBrand’s key values of ‘Adaptable’ and ‘Entrepreneurial’. He loves to keep things simple and is focused on delivering results. Since taking the helm as Global CEO in 2009 FutureBrand has more than doubled in size and achieved an unparalleled breath of strategic and design skills.
Patrick has an eclectic background including Advertising, Design and Branding. Whilst at WPP he combined global responsibility for the Vodafone account with European leadership of Brand Union.
Patrick’s continued focus is defining the growth strategy for FutureBrand, identifying and converting key acquisition opportunities worldwide, as well as maintaining key client responsibilities for global relationships with RBS and Visa.
When not solving complex branding challenges, he enjoys watching and playing sports and spending time with his wife and three children as well as fuelling his passion for literature, film and medieval history.
