Intel began 38 years ago as a memory company, but jetted to the top of the technology industry and world business community as the foremost microprocessor company.

So what’s next for the fifth most recognized brand in the world? The goal of the top minds at Intel was to make a proactive move to enhance the company’s position and solidify its reputation as one of the most innovative and creative companies in the world.

We worked with Intel and its many partners to define and express a new personality that builds on their existing drive and energy but which captures more of the transformative “magic” of its innovations. This, we believe, will enable Intel to connect more emotionally and viscerally with its customers’ lives and professional aspirations. This strategy shifts Intel from being perceived as almost exclusively engineering-oriented to a new role, one where it behaves as a catalyst in helping create thrilling technological leaps and is constantly redefining the “new normal.”

The resulting modernized masterbrand identity signals a new era for Intel, with a dynamic, forward-looking logo that clearly represents the driven, catalytic and fascinating attributes of this next generation. Additionally, we partnered with Intel’s ad agency (and our network partner), McCann Group Worldwide, to develop a brand platform and promise for all communications, including the new tagline, “Leap Ahead,” used for external communications, and a new mission statement for internal audiences.
