Designing Rana’s Da Giovanni, a new restaurant concept

FutureBrand Milan, together with the Costa Group, recently completed work on Pastificio Rana’s brand new restaurant, Da Giovanni. The first store opened in Lonato, Italy (approximately 128 km east of Milan) and the retail design will soon be reproduced in other Da Giovanni restaurants in Italy and Europe.

Da Giovanni was conceived with the intention of bringing consumers closer to the Rana brand and promoting the culture of good cuisine. All of the brand values have been transferred to the restaurant, which appears perfectly consistent with Rana’s authenticity, heritage, creativity and spontaneity. Details aim to make customers feel at ease in a place that resembles an old kitchen where food is prepared with love and great skill.

Prior to Da Giovanni, the agency completed retail projects for both La Rinascente and Oviesse. FutureBrand Milan’s approach to brand retailing, which uses a strategic methodology based on the brand’s positioning, is a point of differentiation versus their competitors. The completion of this project is illustrative of how retail is becoming increasingly relevant to FutureBrand Milan’s clients.
