KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia Airlines has shortlisted agencies for its corporate identity and master creative pitches.

DraftFCB, in partnership with FutureBrand, is one of the two agencies shortlisted for the pitch of corporate identity business. The second agency is Johan Design Associates.

Meanwhile, DraftFCB, M&C Saatchi and Ogilvy & Mather have made it to the final round of pitch for Malaysia Airlines’ master creative account.

These final shortlisted agencies will be invited to present to the board of directors before the end of the year.

Malaysia Airlines’ pitch process started with invitations issued to 16 visual identity and advertising creative agencies at the end of May. It then received a total of 13 visual identity and 11 master creative agency proposals in July.

The successful visual identity agency will be tasked to revamp the Malaysia Airlines brand, which includes the development of comprehensive brand usage guidelines as well as to support the airline’s branded customer experience programme (BCEP), launched this year.
