Christopher Nurko
Global Chairman, Worldwide
“Brands have the power to transform and are probably one of the greatest untapped assets for companies, products and people! In marketing and strategy, nothing could be more interesting and fun than working with the potential of Brands.”
Chris has worked over the past 20 years in the area of brand marketing around the world. His clients have included major banks, airlines, petrol companies, consumer packaged goods and charities for which he has developed creative and strategic solutions. Chris worked previously for Enterprise IG (now Brand Union) and for FutureBrand from 2000 – 2006 as Managing Director, FB London and Global Director of Innovation. Chris is passionate about innovation and the power of collaboration techniques to generate and sustain brand ‘energy’ within and for clients. Most recently the Deputy CEO of a major advertising and digital marketing firm, Chris re-joined FutureBrand in April 2010 as Global Chairman. A frequent international traveller, Chris loves the diversity of people and culture around the world and the opportunity to experience first-hand global and local brands. Often spotted in grocery stores examining or buying a variety of unfamiliar brands or new packaging, Chris believes it is the constant challenge to invent or re-invent that makes branding so exciting. A passionate supporter of Chelsea football club, he spends his ‘down-time’ if not in London at the beach in Dorset, England where he is a weekend ‘surfer’.

Martin Thomas
Chief Financial Officer, FutureBrand Worldwide
“Having worked in marketing for years, branding is by far my favorite discipline.”
Martin began his career as a Chartered Accountant in both London and the Bahamas. This may be how he developed his love of the sea and golf. Martin joined FutureBrand in January 2009 as Worldwide Chief Financial Officer. He has been with the IPG group since 2003 working with Weber Shandwick in various UK and European Financial roles. Martin regularly rides 54 miles to FutureBrand’s London office on a 125 BHP motorbike. When he is not at the office, look for him at sea, sailing, scuba diving or fishing. Married with 2 children, Martin will be attempting his 3rd marathon next year.

Shane Greeves
Global Executive Creative Director, FutureBrand Worldwide
“I love seeing people react to what we do. The longevity of a brand is also extremely rewarding to see—to tell someone we did that.”
Originally from Australia, Shane started his career as a young, enthusiastic art director. He joined FutureBrand in summer 2005 as executive creative director, which involves working across a diverse range of geographies. Shane’s experience spans many sectors and includes clients such as Barclays Premier, InBev and Britain’s entry for the America’s Cup. He is currently leading the creative charge for FutureBrand in our work with the London 2012 Olympics, which is appropriate since he’s quite an athlete, biking 16 miles to work every day. When he isn’t hard at work, you can find him fishing for mackerel on his sea kayak off the Isle of Wight, where he and his family have a home.
