Shane joined FutureBrand in Summer 2005 as Global Executive Creative Director, which involves working across a vast range
With experience that spans many sectors, he has been heavily involved with global brands such as Vodafone, Barclays Premier, US Army, ABInBev, and Lenovo.
In addition Shane was the joint creative lead for McCann Worldgroup on both the successful bid and delivery of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Shane was immersed in every aspect of this truly unique project, with FutureBrand’s role involving developing the ‘Look’ of London 2012 and an identity system that worked across every touchpoint of this years Olympic and Paralympic Games. From Olympic and Paralympic badges to stadium interiors, medal ribbons to retail stores and from the London 2012 Festival (the Cultural Olympiad) to the ‘look’ of cities and working with sponsor partners, FutureBrand was involved with every touchpoint of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Shane has judged and won awards at many of the industry’s most prestigious ceremonies, including D&AD, design Week, Communication Arts, and Graphis.
During the period of 2008 – 2010 Shane was on the McCann Worldgroup global creative council and was integral to the creative direction of many of the group’s creative projects.
Furthermore, Shane was honoured to have designed 18 bespoke silver collector coins as part of the Royal Mint’s London Olympics 2012 ‘Silver Series’.
When he isn’t hard at work, you can find him fishing for Mackerel on his sea kayak on the Isle of Wight, where he and his family have a home.
